This web site is a tribute to the early years of electronic music in Belgrade and Serbia. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we were very lucky to be there and take part in it.

The site started in April 1996 as belgrade-techno, designed by Bojan Belović. A month later, Vladimir Vacić joined in, followed by Miloš Krstajić, Marko Domanović (pyc) and Srđan Krajnalić. Istok Pavlović, Milan Drča and Vlada Janjić wrote reviews, and Ivan Mutavdžić designed the logo.

Since August 1999, no one has been actively involved with the yutechno project. This means that all further development is random on hold indefinitely. We will, however, do our best to keep the existing pages online.

We would like to thank (in no particular order): the Fusion crew, Alien Artefact Records, Gordan Paunović (B92), Marko Vajagić (Integra), Vlada Janjić (B92), Fred Giteau (pof), Vladimir Lazarević, Marija Novaković, Integra, Kozmik, the city of Belgrade, Tamara Mirković (Future of Sound), Ivan Hrašovec (XL Magazine), Marko Kusovac (dethost.net), SezamPro OnLine, Predrag Supurović (of Oreska BBS fame), Dragan Ambrozić (Ritam Magazine/HMK Music), the Industrija crew, Dejan Marković (magna house), United DJs of Trance, Slavka, Teenage Techno Punks, Cognition Audioworks, Žika 1, Žika 2, Dane, Sale, Bane and all the others whose names we're never going to find out.

Above all, huge thanks to Hyperreal and techno.de, which were our favorite web sites and an ongoing inspiration.
