Klub Industrija (Industria, X-Industria)

By far the most influential techno/house club in Belgrade, the stuff of legends. It ran in the boiler room of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, from 1994 to 2001. Various ventures have opened in the same space since, but none has lasted long.

It was a sweaty, loud temple of music where we worshiped. Nominally it held 500-600 people, but on Saturdays it was routinely oversold. If everyone who claimed to have been a regular had actually gone there with any frequency, Industrija would have had to be at least three times larger than it was.
